I cross paths with different kinds of people and I always try to remind myself there was some kind of purpose for the interaction. If not for me, for the other person. There are so many people out there that need a smile or a hello from a stranger and we turn our noses down to our phones and ignore one another.

I crossed paths many years ago with a young man who was friends with a friend of mine and we hit it off at a party. He was kind like me, open, we engaged, and then it happened. We went beneathe the surface and we spoke about our fears and about things that were real. By the end of our conversation I had opened my eyes to many things, and also gained tools for the things I was having alot of fear with. He had went through things too. I found out I wasn’t alone. My life changed. That magical meeting changed my life. I saw him here and there after that and we’d exchange stories and ideas and tools for life. I always felt better after we talked. What’s funny is we never purposely hung out but we would cross paths. It was the universes bigger plan. Our energy attracted one another . We now occasionally exchange a message here and there and it’s all love. I’ve vocalized to him the importance of our meeting that night to me. I am forever grateful.
